Floral Vintage Area Rug | Cream Botanical Washable Rug — Florielle

Cream Botanical Vintage Floral Washable Area Rug | Florielle

The Florielle brings a soft, vintage-floral mood to the home, with blush-pink florals on a calm cream ground scattered across a fully machine washable surface. It feels collected and romantic without ever tipping into fussy — a gentle, romantic, lived-in kind of pretty that warms up a room the moment it goes down.

Built for real household use, the Florielle features an anti-slip backing, fade-resistant polyester construction, and full machine washability. No dry cleaning, no professional care, and no compromise on the blush and cream that drew you to it in the first place.

Style & Design

The Florielle is inspired by pressed-flower botanicals and faded vintage florals, soft-edged and romantic rather than sharp or graphic. The vintage botanical floral is balanced and easy to live with, reading as considered from every seat in the room.

Blush and cream pairs naturally with cream, blush, sage, soft white, natural wood, and rattan. It sits comfortably in cottagecore, farmhouse, romantic, and French-country interiors, working alongside natural materials, organic textures, and a pared-back palette — or layer it against bolder soft furnishings for more contrast.

Perfect for Every Room

Living room — The Florielle creates a gentle, romantic focal point without competing with your furniture, and is especially effective in cottagecore, farmhouse, romantic, and French-country spaces where the goal is a room that feels considered and intentional.

Bedroom — A 5×7 or 6×9 Florielle under the bed brings a finished, hotel-quality calm to the bedroom and softens the floor underfoot first thing in the morning.

Dining room — The pattern disguises marks and spills well between washes, and the machine washable construction means dining accidents are never a lasting problem. Works beautifully under a timber or painted dining table.

Home office — The blush and cream tones add warmth and a sense of calm focus to a workspace without distraction, helping a home office feel deliberate rather than purely functional.

Nursery & children’s rooms — The gentle blush and cream palette makes the Florielle a soothing choice for a nursery or child’s bedroom. Machine washable and anti-slip — practical and beautiful in equal measure.

Built for Everyday Life

Made from durable, fade-resistant polyester, the Florielle holds its blush and cream through repeated wash cycles and heavy foot traffic. The anti-slip backing keeps the rug firmly positioned on hard floors without adhesive products or separate rug pads. The low-pile construction lays flat under furniture and chair legs, making it safe and practical in dining rooms and offices as well as lounges and bedrooms. Pet and child safe.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the colour stay vibrant after washing?
Yes — the polyester fibres are dyed to resist fading through regular machine washing. Wash cold on a gentle cycle and the blush and cream retains its depth and saturation over time.

What decorating styles suit the Florielle best?
Cottagecore, farmhouse, romantic, and French-country interiors are all natural fits. The vintage botanical floral pairs beautifully with natural materials, organic textures, and a considered colour palette.

Is an anti-slip rug pad needed?
No — the Florielle has a built-in anti-slip backing that grips hard floors, tile, and laminate securely. A separate rug pad can be added for extra cushioning if you prefer, but it is not required for stability.

What size should I choose for a queen bedroom?
A 5×7 placed at the foot of the bed with the rug extending under the lower third works well for a standard queen. A 6×9 gives full under-bed coverage with space along both sides — ideal if you have bedside tables and want a fuller floor.

Can this rug be used in a nursery?
Yes — the machine washable, non-slip construction makes the Florielle a safe, practical choice for nurseries and children’s rooms. Soft underfoot, easy to clean, and built for real family life.
